One More Budget App

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how One More Budget App ("the App"), a personal budget planning application, handles your information when you use it on Android or iOS.

Effective date: 5 October 2026

1. Data controller

The data controller is Two Clicks Later (twoclickslater.com), the studio behind One More Budget App, as identified on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store listings ("we", "us"). For privacy-related questions or requests, contact the studio at hello@twoclickslater.com. Product support: support@onemorebudget.app.

2. Summary

In short: Guest mode keeps your budget data on your device. An optional account enables cloud sync via Firebase. We also use Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. We do not sell your data and we do not run ads.

3. Data stored on your device

The App uses an on-device database (Drift / SQLite) for payments, categories, forecasts, savings goals, and settings. In guest mode (no account), this data stays on your device and is what the App reads for everyday use.

If you use a system share sheet or file export feature (where available), data is sent only to the destination you choose — we have no access to it.

4. Optional account and cloud sync

You can create an optional account with email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple. When you are signed in and sync-eligible, the App may upload and download your budget data to Google Cloud Firestore so you can use the same data on another device. Guest / signed-out use remains local-only.

Account-related data may include your email address, authentication provider, and a user ID. Password accounts may require email verification before cloud sync is available.

5. Google Firebase

We use the following Firebase services, all subject to the Google Privacy Policy:

6. Local notifications

If you enable payment reminders, the App can schedule notifications on the device using the OS notification system. Reminder content is generated on-device; push delivery (if used) goes through the platform messaging services above.

7. Sign-in providers and other services

The App is built with open-source libraries and integrates platform services from Google (Android) and Apple (iOS). Optional sign-in uses Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, which operate under their own privacy policies. The App does not include third-party advertising networks.

If in-app purchase functionality is enabled in a future version, it will use RevenueCat for subscription management. That section of this policy will be updated before the feature is released.

8. Delete your account and data

You can delete individual budget records (payments, jars, categories, and similar) inside the App without deleting your account.

To delete your account and associated cloud data: open the App → Settings / Profile → Delete account, or email hello@twoclickslater.com from the address linked to your account. We will process requests within 30 days. Uninstalling the App removes local data on that device but does not by itself delete a cloud account.

9. Data retention

On-device data is kept until you delete records, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Cloud data for a signed-in account is kept until you delete the account or request deletion. Google retains Firebase analytics and crash data according to their own retention settings (typically 2–14 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).

10. Security

We rely on platform-level security (device encryption, OS sandboxing) and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for Firebase. Keep your device OS updated and use a device lock. Cloud sync is available only when you choose to sign in and meet sync requirements.

11. Children

One More Budget App is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in the EU or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you.

For local data, edit or delete records in the App, or uninstall it. For cloud account data, use in-app account deletion or email us. For data held by Google as a processor (Analytics, Crashlytics), you can also use Google's privacy tools.

For any other requests, email hello@twoclickslater.com. We will respond within 30 days.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. For significant changes, we will post a notice inside the App or on this page before they take effect.
